This classic bread, infused with fragrant herbs and topped with savory ingredients, is a hit at any gathering.
Ingredients
3 2/3 cup of bread or AP flour
5 tsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 cups water room temp
2 tsp salt
A few sprigs of rosemary
olive oil
Instructions
Mix flour, yeast and sugar in a bowl until well combined.
Add the water and mix for 5 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 10 minutes.
Add the salt, mix for 5 minutes.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Cover and let rise for a minimum of 5-6 hours.
Deflate the dough and transfer to a parchment lined and oiled pan. Let sit for 2-4 hours so it resizes in the pan.
Dimple the dough, then top with rosemary and more olive oil.
Bake in oven at 500* for 20 minutes.
